The Spirit of the Past, Reimagined for the Future
A New Chapter in the CB Legacy
Honda proudly expands its legendary CB family with the introduction of the 2026 CB1000F – a bold fusion of classic inspiration and modern engineering. The newest chapter in Honda’s storied performance lineage, the CB1000F channels the spirit of past icons such as Freddie Spencer’s AMA-spec CB750F, wrapping it in a thoroughly contemporary package.
With a design that celebrates the pure energy of the 1980s, the CB1000F combines sweeping lines, muscular proportions, and minimalist detailing. A strong horizontal flow connects the tank, side covers, seat, and rear cowl, emphasizing strength and unity. Signature retro touches — including a single round LED headlight flanked by twin horns, distinctive tank graphics, and a bespoke megaphone-style muffler — pay homage to Honda’s heritage while asserting unmistakable modern presence.
Performance with Soul
At the heart of the CB1000F beats a retuned version of the renowned CBR1000RR Fireblade engine. Precision revisions to camshaft profiles and intake specifications have transformed its character, producing a perfectly balanced blend of flexibility and excitement.
Delivering 91 kW (124 hp) at 9,000 rpm and 103 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, the CB1000F offers smooth, accessible power in every gear — equally at home slicing through city streets or carving open roads.
The revised engine mapping and exhaust system create an authentic, resonant four-cylinder soundtrack that rewards every twist of the throttle, giving the CB1000F a voice as distinct as its look.
Agility and Control
The CB1000F pairs its thrilling power with impeccable poise. 41 mm Showa SFF-BP USD front forks and an adjustable Showa rear shock with Pro-Link provide supple suspension response, balancing comfort with precision.
Stopping power is equally impressive, courtesy of four-piston radial-mounted calipers gripping 310 mm floating front discs, offering consistent control and feel in all conditions.
Technology That Complements the Ride
Beneath its retro styling lies a thoroughly modern electronics suite. A six-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) manages Cornering ABS for confident braking at any lean angle, while Throttle By Wire (TBW) delivers three preset riding modes plus two customizable USER modes.
Each mode adjusts combinations of Power, Engine Brake, and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) with integrated wheelie control — allowing riders to fine-tune the bike’s character to their mood and environment.
At the centre of it all is a crisp five-inch optically bonded TFT display, ensuring clear visibility even in bright light. Integrated Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity enables calls, music, and navigation, operated effortlessly via intuitive left-hand switchgear.
The Honda Smart Key system allows keyless ignition and convenience — the key stays in your pocket, the ride begins with a touch.
Sustainability and Substance
In line with Honda’s global commitment to sustainability, the CB1000F’s rear fender and seat base are crafted from pre-consumer recycled polypropylene (PP), reducing environmental impact without compromising quality or durability.
